Soft Wash vs. Pressure Wash
When it comes to cleaning exterior surfaces, using the right method is key. At Hidden Oaks Outdoor Company, we offer both soft washing and pressure washing, each designed for specific surfaces and cleaning needs.
Pressure Washing
Pressure washing uses high-pressure water to blast away dirt, grime, mold, and stains. It’s ideal for tough, durable surfaces like
- Concrete driveways and sidewalks
- Brick and stone
- Retaining walls
- Patios and decks (depending on the material)
This method is fast and effective for removing built-up debris, but it’s not suitable for all surfaces, especially those that are more delicate.
Soft Washing
Soft washing uses a low-pressure stream combined with eco-friendly cleaning solutions to gently break down and remove mold, mildew, algae, and dirt. It’s the safer choice for:
- Home/business siding (vinyl, wood, stucco, brick, stone)
- Roof shingles
- Fences and screens
- Outdoor furniture
Soft washing is just as effective as pressure washing, but far less abrasive, making it the preferred method for sensitive or treated surfaces.
